What inspires me is…pretty much everything, actually. Music, pictures, places, books and films, people I meet. Quite often I’ll get a snatch of something from the strangest things – a new story from a film I’ve seen several times before, a feeling that I want to replicate from walking past an abandonded industrial park, a scene from a song.

I’m not entering, by the way, because I’ve already bought it.

Oh Ruth, I remember this when it was a young fledgling story. How wonderful that you have brought it to term. I am so proud of you.

Favorite animal? Has to be cats, from the tiniest newborn kitten to the masters of the jungle. I love anything feline.
Do dragons count?

Congratulations on your new release. It sounds wonderful. I really wanted to see wolves when hubby and I visited Yellowstone National Park a couple of months ago. We heard them, but that was all. Leopards and tigers are a real inspiration to me. They’re so graceful.
